Allow and blocking programs...

I blocked a program trying to connect to the internet on accident!! How do I
fix this?
It was blocked through that pop-up thing that asks you to allow or block a
program...


The program trying to connect is the game Diablo BTW ^_^

Try:
Control Panel / Windows Firewall / Allow a program through the Firewall
/ Exceptions /

If Diablo is listed there check the box to allow it through. If it isn't
listed, add it.

I *think* that will work for you ???

I tried that, Neil, but it doesn't unblock it from going into the internet.
I can unblock DIABLO but not connecting it to the internet

Does Diablo use any 'special' ports to access the web? It might be that
their servers are using a specific port which you will have to enter
into the firewall. I would have thought that would be covered by
allowing Diablo through but it's worth a read of the manual of help file
to see if ports are mentioned or anything else you need to do.

6112-6119 TCP and UDP in and out.. how do i do that

Kevin. You will need to manually add each port for UDP and TCP one at a
time <yawn>.

You can do a 'range' of ports for Incoming and Outgoing if you access
the firewall from the Administrative Tools but it can seem complicated
if you're unsure about it.

Control Panel / Firewall / exceptions / add port

UDP 6616
UDP 6617
UDP 6618
UDP 6619

TCP 6612
TCP 6613
TCP 6614
TCP 6615

hmm it didnt work but then i tried something else...
Well for one thing, I DID go to the administrative tools hehehe but thats
besides the point. It was my windows live One Care firewall that was clashing
with it.. so i uninstalled it! =/ that program was messed up anyways >.<
