So I got a weird one that I can't figure out. I have a Server 2016 with Exchange running on Hyper V. One of the nics (for the host) went bad and so I replaced it and configured it the same as before. All computers including the Hyper V guest resolve internal/external DNS without any problem, which DNS services are is on the Host, but the Host will not resolve external, internal is ok. Any ideas? Also from the Host I cannot ping external domains or IP addresses.

Subnet: 255.255.255.0
Gateway: 192.168.1.1
DNS: 192.168.1.5
Nic2 (External Virtual Switch) left unconfigured
Hyper V guest
IP: 192.168.1.2

Gateway: 192.68.1.1
DNS: 192.168.1.5
Workstations a Exchange server can access the the files shares on the host and AD queries etc. I have even tried forwarders/root hints etc, the Host is the only system that cannot resolve external.
