Virus put adware on PC

I had trojan zlob on my PC and it created an icon
on my taskbar for security software called AutoVirGear
or something. The virus is gone but i dont know how to get
rid of the icon. Anybody know how?

The virus is not gone. Your computer is still infected, probably with
AntiVirGear and not "AutoVirGear".

Yes,my wife got that on her system from clicking a link posted on
MySpace.Several scanners found it but could not clean it out. Here is
what cleaned it up(roguefix).Run the tool in Safe-Mode.

Today around noon, norton antivirus finally found it and deleted it.
It was in GDRTUL.DLL in C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\
