Twice consecutively, my computer failed to upgrade Windows 10 Professional 1809 (17763.529) to 1903 (18362.145), logging the below error ("Windows failed to install the following update with error 0x8024200D: Feature update to Windows 10, version 1903.") and warning messages which I located using the "Event Viewer."
I used a simple work-around for the problem, which I chose to share, in case anyone else might find information about the work-around useful. Be forewarned, however, that my old computer took a very long time (about 8.25 hours) to complete the aforementioned upgrade. Details follow.
To work around the problem, I changed my computer's virtual memory settings, so that Windows 10 Professional temporarily no longer used the "Automatically manage paging file size for all drives" setting and instead used the following virtual memory paging file settings on the computer's only drive ("C:"):
The computer then successfully upgraded Windows 10 Professional from the aforementioned original to modified versions, which the following information explains. I then reconfigured Windows 10 Professional to again use the "Automatically manage paging file size for all drives" setting.

The computer took, CDT on June 9, 2019, from 12:29 AM to 1:14 AM to restart and finish the upgrade. I instructed Windows to perform the first restart. I believe it automatically restarted two additional times during the final stage of the upgrade.
