On Saturday afternoon. I was in my OE inbox. Doing stories. But when I closed it. The same pop up messages pops up"to free up disk space on your c disk outlook express can compact your folders. This might take a few minutes". So I did and clicked on yes. But I wanted to restart my computer. After the first folder was finished. Theres a usual error message in red pops up"this folder is being used by outlook express or by another program"...So I click cancel. Then I restart my computer. Then I open OE. I should have done what I did before. Move some messages to the "draft"...folder. But that was my mistake. So I closed OE and the pop up message pops up..."to free up disk space on your c disk, outlook express can compact your folders". So I clicked yes. But most the folders some reason takes a long time to compact. But then the error message in red pops up. So I click ok. And I watch and wait for the compacting to finish.
But when it finished. I opened my inbox...and I notice a year of messages just somehow missing. How do I get them back or is there a way? Lots of messages I had was important. Need help if can.
