Limitations for legacy OS or Microsoft applications for key length of cryptographic provider in AD CS 2012R2

Planning to add windows 2012 r2 ADCS with sha2 and 4096 key length in current infra...

Is this having any limitations for legacy OS or Microsoft application.. for example windows 2003, office communicator server 2007, sccm 2007 or any legacy applications which is not supported by Microsoft..
