hey guys In my problems and solutions it states that I have a compatability problem with vista and my AMT interface driver and my Intel active management technology(KCS)I am running windows vista premium (pre installed).I am wondering if anyone else is experiencing this and how they went about fixing it.The solution in problems and solutions says to go to windows hardware and compatability list.I dont know how wise that would be to try and substitute those items even if I knew what I was looking for.I am a newbie and been fighting numerous issues with vista.Any help would be appreciated:confused:

Hi kkepls
I've worked a bit with AMT, and never seen a compatibility problem with the drivers...

Can you detail a bit more what is the "compatibility problem"?
Is there any log in the "Problems and Solutions"?

I would be very happy to help, if I can.

Thank you very much for your help.I am not too sure exactly what compatability problems these are the solutions too.Since I have so many little problems.I will tell you what the issues have been. I will just give one each but have had numerous, windows side bar stops working frequently, windows explorer stops working,Windows defender command line utility(MP telemetry )stop working,STac gui module stops working, network diagnostics framework stops responding,,mcsysmon service hang report, mcafee proxy service module,MCAFEE privacy service stops working,AOL regulator stops working, aol stops responding costantly, aol program compatability problem. These are listed in my problem and history log.The solutions listed are compatability issue with AMT interface driver and windows vista(go to windows Vista hardware compatabilty list)The other solution iscompatabilty issue between INTEL ACTIVE MANAGEMENT TECHNOLOGY (KCS and windows vista)I am no computer wizz and there is no way I am going to the vista hardware list and just choose something to replace these drivers.I can still use the computer and hope it doesnt get worse.I just wonder why other people with gateway computers and windows vista arnt faceing the same issues. The drivers they are speaking of are gateway manufactured.Any way thank you for any help you can give
