Windows 8.0 toshiba labtop, no wireless connection???

I had this computer for 6 years and it is weird that now I have no wireless connection, at the present moment I am attached to the Ethernet through a cable when I know my computer has a Wireless Connection Access. I need help. I am unable to find it or turn it on through normal means. Please I am in a tight space trying to fix this issue.
