Hi,
I have a client which uses a Server 2012 R2 Standard as, AD,DHCP,DNS,File, Print server and connection with the O365 enviremont
We have this strage issue since a month or 2 that the server freezes almost every day for a few minutes, happens only in the morning.
During this freez i'm not able to access the server anymore, and the only thing that stops working are the printers.
Everything else keeps working (Internet, file access etc)
Their are no backup's runing during the freez and also no AV scans.
IT's a VM on a Hyper-V Machine, see specs below of the VM
OS: Windows Server 2012 R2 Standard
4 Virtual CPU's
8GB Startup Memory
Dynamic Memory enabled
Latest Windows Server updates
Hyper-V OS: Windows Server 2012 R2 Standard
Any idea's how i can check why the server freezes? we are already thinking of building a new server if this keeps going on for to long.
