Routing problem

Hello,

We have a multihomed Windows Server 2016 platform with two NIC interfaces.

Interface A has a static 192.168.1.X address with a gateway of 192.168.1.1 connecting to a router NAT allowing only two ports for specific application access with nothing else on that network.

Interface B has a static address of 192.168.2.X address with a gateway of 192.168.2.2 connected to a Internet Security Appliance providing VPN access.

Randomly, Interface B stops responding to RDP and ping requests from external VPN attached clients but responds to internal network requests (RDP and ping). We've used ROUTE ADD with the -p switch to define the 192.168.2.X network, but that hasn't resolved the issue. The server is completely up to date with all patches. We're more than open to suggestions at this point.

Thanks in advance.
