What does it mean when my HP Printer is showing offline?
How do I get My Printer Online?
HP Printer Offline- Printers often face an offline error when a hardliner connection to the computer is holding the document. The printer itself doesn’t have a hard-drive, which is why it needs a means of communication with the PC so that it can read and transfer further for the print function.
Method that works for HP Printer Offline
STEP 1- First, turn on your computer to which the HP Printer is connected. The printer can be left off at this step.
STEP 2- Once Your Computer is active, click on the start menu
STEP 3- Further, click ‘Devices and Printers’
STEP 4- Then, click on the icon for the HP Printer which you use.
STEP 5- Once you see the status being shown as ‘Offline’, click on it.
STEP 6- Click the ‘printer’ option on the pop-up window. Finally, unchecked on the ‘Use Printer Offline’ option.
Now any items that went left in the print queue of the HP Printer will start printing.
