Licensing question

Hi,

Please can someone explain the Server 2016 licensing model in easy terms.

Am I right or wrong in saying that.

1. You are permitted to install one licensed instance of Server 2016 STD edition on

The host machine and a maximum of 2 Guest VMs.

2. You are permitted to install one licensed instance of Sever 2016 DC edition on

The host machine and an unlimited amount of guest VMs.
