I have a Windows Server 2012 host machine and I need to transfer some files to a guest Win Server 2003 guest VM (Hyper-v). I've read in several places that the only way for a guest VM to recognize the disk drive is to configure the USB drive as a pass-through disk.
In Windows 2012 Disk Management interface when I right-click on the USB drive I don't have the option to "Offline" the drive, is there a different way to do it? Or is it a 2012 thing?
