How to transfer files old Hard drive Windows XP to new Win 10

I have a old desktop that is dead. So i took the hard drive out to transfer files to new computer that is windows 10. The drive is not showing up. I did a transfer with Vista and Win 7 no problem. Xp not so much. Disk manager doesn't show i can change drive name. Need help
