Program in Remote Desktop Connection fails to work properly when User is disconnected or Window minimized

Hi,

I am running Windows Server 2016 Standard, 64 bit. I am using an old program called Personal Communications iSeries Access for Windows - Workstation Program Version 5.9 for Windows , from IBM.

I use python to run macro scripts on that program. My problem is that as soon as I disconnect from the session, so that the program can continue to run, the program acts up and has all sorts of issues. So I need to be in the session for the program to work normally. As a workaround, I am using TeamViewer and I can minimize the connection and everything works well. But as soon as I close TeamViewer, the program acts up again. To clarify, even if I am logged in but I have minimized the Remote Desktop Connection, the program will not work correctly. I need to have the Window of the RDC maximized or open ; only then will the program work.

What can I do to have this program function normally even though I am not logged on with TeamViewer minimized or with a Remote Desktop Connection with maximized Window?
