Help finding my closed account and password. I know my account name, thats all!

I have not used my windows live account in seven years due to time spent in prison, and when I try to open windows live it says ; no such account exists, and I have all of my contacts in there as well as stuff stored up in the cloud. The last computer system I used was Windows 8. I do not remember my password only the e-mail account. I don't know where to start, I can't get any one on the phone. What should I do
