Problems with Server 2012 R2 Rdweb - IIS errors with HTTP Error 500.0 Internal Server Error possible IIS problem

Hi,

As the title explains OS is Server 2012 R2 when you try and access RDweb you get an error HTTP Error 403.4 - Forbidden. If you try and access http:\\127.0.0.1 you get an error HTTP Error 500.0 - Internal Server Error and Windows updates continually fail to install.

Can anyone suggest anything to get this server back up and running properly please?
