Hello everyone
I have a windows server 2012 R2 and when my scheduled backup runs I get this errors in the VSS:
"The backup operation that started at '2019-07-26T06:48:25.833600400Z' has failed with following error code '0x80780102' (The system writer is not found in the backup.). Please review the event details for a solution, and then rerun the backup operation once the issue is resolved."
And the following
Volume Shadow Copy Service error: Unexpected error querying for the IVssWriterCallback interface. hr = 0x80070005, Access is denied.
. This is often caused by incorrect security settings in either the writer or requestor process.
Operation:
Gathering Writer Data
Context:
Writer Class Id: {e8132975-6f93-4464-a53e-1050253ae220}
Writer Name: System Writer
Writer Instance ID: {b98b5e95-3fe7-408c-a7d4-8bbe7f8af030}
And this vss error:
Volume Shadow Copy Service error: Unexpected error querying for the IVssWriterCallback interface. hr = 0x80070005, Access is denied.

Writer Name: Dhcp Jet Writer
Writer Instance ID: {1665bfe1-29ca-4f19-bff2-e757c31c77dd}
I run the following command vssadmin list writers and all the writers look stable.
Also at the registry at [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\services\VSS\VssAccessControl] I don't have the NT Authority\\NetworkService instead I have the NT Authority\\LocalService and the dword is 1.
Also another problem that I encounter is that the VSS service stops unexpectedly during the day. I don't believe this is an error, I believe I gets to idle state.
Doew anyone knows how to resolve this problem.
