Dedicated Server

I have a Server with minimum or basic roles install. I using it as host to deploy a Jar application and from this host I will execute the Jar app. The Jar will write data to a repository (another server). Can I install the Oracle Client in this host as I will do with any other client Windows (10) machine? Is there anything besides the TNS file to be deploy in the host needed?
