Migrating printer server from 2008R2

hi everyone,

Good afternoon! Hope you are all doing great.

I am planning to upgrade my 2008R2 print server. I would like to ask if I can upgrade the print server to 2016 directly? I did some research that someone did the 2008R2 to 2012 and then from 2012 to 2016. May you share your experience?
