Hi,
I have gone through the Windows Server Roles and Features and I found, in Windows Server 2016, there 23 Roles and 61 features that we add as per requirements. I know most of them are continued from previous versions Windows Server.
If I am right, Active Directory Domain Services are the core among all roles and features of Windows Server and almost all trainers start Windows Server training from Active Directory Domain Services.
Most of time when I start learning Windows Server 2016, I got stuck at Active Directory Domain Services’ Users and Computers policies.
I try to learn Windows Server 2016 myself with the help video, e-books and communities. When I got puzzled, learning stopped for some times. After sometimes I start from beginning.
Because of this, I couldn’t complete Windows Server 2016 yet and I couldn’t start and learn other roles and features.
Please be kind and advise me to resolve this issue.
Apart from above issue, I have another question.
I do not mean I want to bypass learning of Active Directory Domain Services’ User and Computer policies.
After installing Active Directory Domain Services and promoting Windows Server as a Domain Controller, if I go for learning other Roles and Features side-by-side, would you like to guide me which Roles and Features are correlated with User and Computer policies and are there any possibilities of difficulties?
I hope I explained my issues better. Please guide me positively.
