It's an annoying bug. Randomly... not every time... but often; I go into my scanner after a Microsoft update and discover that all my custom profiles are *missing*. I setup custom sizes for default items like business checks and certain invoices, so it's annoying).
It's a Fujitsu scanner fi-4340Cd, so nothing special or out of the ordinary.
1. Anyone know where the settings for the profiles are kept? I've tried searching the registry with the name of the scan profile (including some bad words...LOL) and also %appdata% etcetera.
2. Anyone (MS?) know what's getting clobbered so that I don't have to keep revisiting this?
