How to center Slideshow in Windows Photo Gallery

I have a Windows Vista system. The Slideshow function in the Windows/Windows Live Photo Gallery has been working perfectly... until earlier this week when it suddenly started offsetting the images. So essentially the images are off-center to the right of middle, and therefore the right 1/3 of the images are being cut off. I Googled Help on this topic but none of the existing suggestions work. A resolution would be appreciated. Thanks!
