I have found several articles asking me to try various actions. So far, I have no joy.
I have tried installing manually via
No dice. The server boots and then experiences the error 800f0922 after the reboot while trying to apply the updates. The updates are rolled back.
Based upon a couple of articles, I tried deleting c:\windows\softwaredistribution. No Dice.
Based upon another article, I tried installing bit locker. No Dice.
Another article says that I need to disable secure boot. However, I am working with a VM and I cannot find a secure boot option to disable for my virtual machine. I am using vsphere 5.5.0 to manage my virtual machines.
I am not very experienced in patch management as I am temporarily standing in place of another employee who left the company. So, it is very likely that there is something very basic I am overlooking or ignorant of.
