Hello.
I rolled back from Windows 8 to Windows 7 when I received my PC.
I now read online that people wanting to upgrade from Windows 7 to Windows 10 are no longer eligible for a free upgrade. I wish I'd been aware of this when the upgrade was availble for free. I didn't get any notices from Windows telling me that the window for free upgrades was going to close.
* BUT, does this apply to me seeing that I had windows 8 installed on my PC when I purchased it?
I'm wondering how to upgrade to Windows 10 for free and if not, how best to go about it.
I'd like to keep all the files on my computer. Do I need to make sure that it's all backed up first?
