no dcpromo

Hi,

Today for the first time I had to demote a Windows 2016 DC.

As of Server 2016 there is no real dcpromo command anymore. The exe file that exists just launces an info screen telling me to go to a microsoft page with a link that you have to type manualy on you own desktop as it is non clickable and selecting the text does not work either. (thank you Microsoft).
To enable or disable a DC you have to run the wizard after installing the role or before removing the role.

The first is easy, add the ADDS role and a link to the wizard appears. Click on it and you're in the GUI.
Now try to demote a DC by using the GUI. It seems the only way to get the link to the GUI is to create an error by trying to remove the ADDS role when you KNOW you cannot do so. Trying to do so will produce the error and the error message will give you the link.

Isn't that kind of stupid? Why first make me do something wrong to get the link to do it right? Does anyone know a way to simply start the wizard using powershell, VBscript or whatever? Isn't that exactly what dcpromo did, just start the wizard? Why remove that?
