Hello,
on a Windows Server 2012 R2 domain controller I have a scheduled task for a daily system state backup to another disk. The script to do that is located on a file server and referenced by its Dfs path, it runs in the background using a dedicated account.
Now each time I reboot the DC, the task fails with "cannot find the file specified (0x80070002)" - I presume it does not find the script because similar errors inside the script would not trigger that return code. However, when I start taskschd.msc once, open the task and close it, everything is fine until the next reboot.
Any ideas what's going wrong?
Thanks, Georg.
