Why must we go through this every time there is a update, the forced update to 10 killed my last desk top and this update has made a complete mess of things. 1908 update refuses to see the internet is on and working. keep getting this over and over.

Its not only windows store but bing and edge and EI and anything microsoft wont connect the only way i'm getting to do this is google is smart enough to know when its on line. I have tried to remove the update but did not have the "Permission" to do so. I have tried to back up and recovery only to lose most my files, on this computer. (save and stored on another device). I have wasted 4 days on this update and am at wits end. And this isn't a new problem is it microsoft? It's been happening for years.
I've cleaned the caches, restored local settings, gone through the "wsreset" fix, changed the permissions, updated drivers, changed setting and still can't get it to work. ran every trouble shooter that I could find, and did it all again as a admin, and still nothing. I'm ready to toss it into the river, and wont be getting anything with windows on it next time. So my question is what do i do now?
