Simpletech external hard drive only works on Windows XP.

I am hoping to get access to the data on my Simpletech external hard drive. As I understand, I can only access it from a computer running Windows xp. I know that Microsoft has literally killed XP. But I have an old PC that I wish to install Windows xp on, so I can access my drive. I saw that Microsoft provides downloads for the XP ISO. But, how do I install it on my old computer? I burned the ISO to a CD, and I tried to boot from the CD, but it doesn't work.


And, when I do get it to work, where do I find the Product key for it?
