I have some scheduled tasks that are newly created on Windows 2016. They are scheduled to start sometime after midnight, then run every 30 minutes for a day, every day. I noticed that starting from day 2, the jobs would run twice at the starting time. i.e. if the job is scheduled to begin at 12:10am, after a day, the job will be triggered twice at 12:10am, but only that time, it will have the same problem every day after that. I have tried to configure it to run every 30 minutes indefinitely, or run weekly, but check the boxes on every day of the week. It always starts to have the problem on day 2.
I had the same jobs on Windows 2008 R2 , that run every 30 minutes daily, I have never seen this issue.
I searched but haven't seen anyone report the same exact problem. Is this a known bug?
Thanks,
Ning
