Fax and Scan problem

The Windows Fax and Scan has stopped working. I can print to the Epson 4750 but when I try to scan it brings up another Epson that is no longer in use the 4550. In settings it shows 4750 as default printer. The scan sheet appears from a previous scan and when you click on new scan it attempts to connect to the old printer the 4550.
