Administrator password dependency on Domain controller

Hi, As per the business requirement, we need to change the "administrator" password under ADUC. We do not have the current administrator password. Even we don't know the dependency of the administrator. If we change the password for administrator, is there any option to give the privious password? or any such option to get the old password to view?
