I had some issues with a backup software I was using and while working with them to resolve it somehow COM+ got corrupted. The COM+ System Application service will not start and when I drill down to COM+ Applications in Component Services I get an Error code 80040154. Per the vendors suggestions I tried to clean up the catalog following the instructions found here https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/315296/how-to-clean-up-a-damaged-com-catalog but that does not fix the issue. I also just tried upgrading the server to Server 2109 and the problem is still there. Any ideas on how to fix this?
