I have a 4 server network with the following.
2 x server 2008R2 2 x Server 2012 R2
The 2008 machines are being upgraded dou to 2008 EOL. Unfortunately, due to certain other software limitations. We can only upgrade to Server 2012R2.
I am purchasing Windows server 2019 Std and going to downgrade it to Server 2012R2. Can this be done?
Also, all user CALs are for 2012, can I still use the existing CALs as the whole network will be 2012? Or do I need to purchase 2019 CALs even though I'm not actually installing 2019?
Thanks
