I was trying to pin an app to the Apps screen and wanted it to be for anyone who logs onto the Windows 2012 server. I tried to sign in as different users and it did not seem to be working. I had someone else sign in and the app didn't show for them, either. It would only show for me.
Well, I messed around in different places such as C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu and C:\Users\User1\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs and C:\Users\User2\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs and I think I have messed things up. I can't get apps put back where they should be and tried to copy profiles for User1 and User2 from other servers in the group and it is just not working. In fact, on this server, if I sign in as myself (User1), it shows my name on the Start Screen. However, when I sign in as User2, it shows my name on the Start screen, as well.
Is there any way to get the User1 and User2 profiles set back up like they should be? I know my way around the folders now but do not know how to resolve the issue with signing in as User2 but it showing me (User1) on the Start screen.
