windows 10 upgrade for disabled seniors as myself and family members

I know we missed the chance to upgrade our desk top SONT Vaio PCV-RS 530 to windows 10. The question is can windows 10 work on our desktop and how can we do it or get it installed . We took it to a best buy that we have been customers for many years just like we have done with your folks their at Microsoft but the people at best buy told us due to a don't touch windows xp3 contract with you guys they wouldn't even help.
