When using search, most of the basic system programs (like control panel and calculator) show as a "[x]" icon. Is there a way to resolve this?

I've googled around a bit prior to asking, because normally you can find solutions to things when other people have the same issue. However, I was only able to find one other person with my problem. There were plenty of results about people who simply had missing icons and the like, but all of my icons are there, and they don't show up as a blank document icon.

This is what I see on my end:

What I've tried so far, is:

1. Clearing the thumbnail cache. Both manually, and automatically using instructions found on "thewindowsclub" website.

2. Rebuilding the icon cache, also via the same site.

3. Increasing the icon cache size, again with instructions on the same website.

4. Running "sfc /scannow" in an elevated command prompt. (It found no issues.)

5. Running "dism /online /cleanup-image /checkhealth" in an elevated command prompt. (Again, no corruption found.)

It might also be worth noting that I just reinstalled windows a few hours ago, after contacting Microsoft support for another unrelated issue. So I'm using a fresh install. One weird thing about this is that the icons all exist and correctly display in every other context, just not while searching. Whilst this icon issue isn't important, it does bother me a bit, and I would be interested in a solution if anyone has one.
