We have 2 2012 AD servers running DHCP. We create a reservation for each workstation in each of the various scopes. I recently added a worstation to the Reservation and found that DHCP is no longer able to Replicate Failover Scope. in any of the scopes that I make a change to. An error comes up
Failed to update reservations in scope xx.xx.xx.xx on partner server. Error 20013 An error occured while accessing the DHCP database. Look at the DHCP server event log for mor information on theis error.
I see that in my DHCP - Server event log, I have an entry that dates back a couple of months ago (when we changed the ip address of the servers).
The failover state of server: ad2.usccreditunion.org for failover relationship: ad2.usccreditunion.org-ad1.usccreditunion.org changed from: NORMAL to COMMUNICATION_INT.
The properties of each server showed Comminication interrupted using the powershell get-dhcpserverv4failover command, until I changed one of the servers to Partner down.
I also have one scope on one of the servers that will not successfully reconcile a single ip address that happens to be outside of the pool, and as far as i can tell it is invisible.
I have not been able to find very much information that will assist in resolving this issue so far, other than removing the failover relationship and then recreating it over again.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks
