Dr. Abraham
After a recent drive failure/system crash, I restored my C-Drive from an Acronis True Image Home backup, to a new drive. The restore operation completed successfully, however the system does not recognize the new drive as a boot drive.
The backup was done as a file backup (all files on drive, except for "my documents" folder, which was backed up elsewhere), rather than as a "disk backup". All the files appear to be there - restore looks to have completed just fine.
How do I make this drive bootable? The Windows install program won't let me reinstall windows to this drive unless I can already boot into windows!
Very grateful for any help!
