I deployed a new Server 2012 R2. I migrated 20 desktops successfully, all have connected to the domain and log in fine. No issues with the win10 desktops.
My Win7Pro desktops have an issue opening the server file share. I can access and see the server share by typing \\server in file explorer but when I double-click on the file share, I get a prompt for a user name and password. If I enter the user name and password that was used to connect computer to domain (or an administrator user/password), it says Access is denied.
All users are part of the same OU/group - just domain users. No differentiation on file share access. The only difference I can see is Win7Pro vs Win10 desktops.
Can anyone offer any help - I can't seem to google the right words to get the answer to my specific situation.
