The Windows 2016 Cumulative updates take a very long time to install. It seems that they expand onto the C drive, because if I don't have 10GB free space, then the update will fail. This unpacking takes many, many minutes. I'd rather update our 2012 R2 servers because they finish in a reasonable time, but I could sit for over an hour on a single 2016 CU. I manage over 100 Windows Server 2016 VMs, and none are notably quick. Adding CPU cores and RAM doesn't seem to help.
