how do i find the taskbar on windows 8

Am trying to misc functions but need to be able to use my taskbar which as far as I can see,isn't there.


Only 'taskbar' is in Word but that doesn't help.


Please help = where is it


Do you think it would be easier to go up to a different Windows - if so which is best & most user-friendly which 8 has never been


Possibly Windows 10


first prob though is to find my stupid taskbar.
