My Vista (Windows) Mail suddenly stopped sending and receiving mail from and to my Gmail accounts!

I have used this system, and email client for several years with no significant problems. My factory installed network adapter failed on 05/05/2019. I have not been able to fix it, so recently I installed a new Realtek adapter in my PCIe slot, and I have been able to connect to my LAN and the internet fine with it.

However, I cannot get my mail client to connect to the POP server to send or receive my Gmail. I have tried every fix I could find on the internet, along with several variations of ports to use on my account setups. I am wondering if it is because of the new adapter in the PCIe slot. Does it require the use of a different or special slot?

I have tried ports 25/110. 465/995. 587/995. I have confirmed all my accounts' passwords required. I tried adding "recent:" in front of the email address in the account setup. I've also tried deleting the account and recreating it. NO LUCK!

Everything looks fine, but my Vista Mail client just refuses to connect to my Gmail accounts. Any suggestions or adfvice is welcomed.
