What is kdcpw.dll used for?

Hi all

My costumer har several domains, mostly 2008 R2, but also 2 2012 domains. They believe that on these two domains are installed a non-default notificationfilter, kdcpw.dll. The filter is not loaded on the 2008 domains, and the files does not exists on these domains.

Can anyone explain the use of kdcpw.dll, so I can be able to calm down my costumer.
