problems running vb6 application with windows 10 & windows server 2016

Hi,


we have been running a vb6 application for many years. Have now updated to windows server 2016 and windows 10, and are having problems with losing connection, disk i/o errors etc.

the application rans ok on windows 7 pc's. with windows server 2016


any ideas as to what might be the problem
