Today I installed Norton Security, and now my mouse won't work!

It did work earlier today. 10/15/19. but now it doesn't! What did I do wrong?! I have Windows Vista, if that matters. and it is the same mouse that I have been using for years! It is not a wireless mouse, as I don't like them, and never did. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thank you!
