Alright so my computer is relatively old, maybe 7 years? Its an acer t3-600 running on windows 8. It was previously my dads computer, but I’m needing it for school. I went to reset it and start the computer from scratch. However its been stuck in a blue screen loop with the error 0xc000021a. Looking at this error on the microsoft website, it says its due to the failure of winlogon or csrss.exe possibly due to third party applications. Im assuming there were either viruses on there or failed/outdated drivers. When I start the computer up, the manufacture logo appears and loads for a while. It then takes me straight to the blue screen and gives me no option for repair. It just continuously restarts. The only thing I can do is open up BIOS settings through pressing delete. Ive tried making a bootable drive through a windows 8 ISO file, and even bought the Easy Recovery Essentials bootable drive and both did absolutely nothing to the computer, it is just in an infinite loop of restarting. I’ve tried opening up safe mode through turning the computer on and off continuously, didn’t work. Any other key is not responsive, for example f8 or shift and f8 does not work to put it in safe mode. I don’t know what else to do? I’m avoiding seeing the repair technician as I am a student and strapped for cash. As my last resort I will see one but for now are there any other ways I can fix this problem?
