Hi All,
I have a Windows Server 2012 R2 virtual machine on ESXi 5.5. When I add it to the domain and it asks for a reboot, I the click reboot and it sticks at 'Notifying services that Windows is shutting down'. I have many Server 2012 vms on the domain that work well.
I have forcefully shutdown, the event viewer after the event doesn't show any issues. Subsequent shut downs stop at the same message but it has joined the domain. I even left it to run over a whole weekend and it didn't move past this message.
Does anyone know any reasoning for this.
Regards
David
