Hi – I work on a program that requires the COM + Network Access feature.
That feature, in Windows Server versions prior to 2016, appears in the Server Manager under Application Server > COM + Network Access.
In Windows Server 2016, the Application Server role (and its COM + Network Access feature) no longer appear in Server Manager.
I understand that Application Server was deprecated in Windows Server 2012 R2, however I can't find anything official to indicate that it was completely removed in Windows Server 2016.
Is there a workaround of any kind in Windows Server 2016 to turn on COM+ Network Access so that this feature will fully work on Windows Server 2016?
Thanks in advance for your help!
