Facebook not responding on PC

Facebook has always worked fine on my Windows Vista. Now it won't load, only the headliner. I can get to the page that shows General Account Settings, Privacy, etc., but no response to Security and Login, only the spinning wait wheel. No issues with any other internet connection.
